Creative Dramatics for grades 3-6 at Youth Theatre

The Youth Theatre of Central Arkansas is now accepting registration for its upcoming class entitled Creative Dramatics for students in grades 3-6. This one day workshop is scheduled for Saturday, February 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Studio Theatre of the Snow Fine Arts Center on the UCA campus.

The Youth Theatre is celebrating its 20th year of providing creative and professional theatrical experiences to children in grades 3-12.

The Creative Dramatics class will be taught by Ruthann Curry Browne, director of the Youth Theatre and will be devoted to working on scenes, refining acting skills, learning new techniques, and having fun. Participants will put together a short presentation to be presented at 3 p.m. for family and friends.

Any student in grades 3-6 are encouraged to participate regardless of previous experience.

Early registration fees are $60 per student and will be accepted through February 25. Late registration of $75 will be accepted through February 27. Classes for students in grades 7-12 are currently being developed and will be announced shortly. Students interested in being notified of upcoming events are asked to visit the web site.
