Dear Editor,

I would like to thank Cindy Coleman, principal of Shirley elementary for the donation of school supplies. The arms of education from Shirley Arkansas reach across the globe to the Dominican republic via Wayne and Connie Beaumont of Fairfield Bay.

We will be visiting two elementary schools in Punta Cana, Domincan republic in February. The supplies are a much needed commodity for the children of this area.
