In Celebration of my Wife, Mother and Friend, JoAnn C. Brown, 65, of Shirley, AR. past away August 8th, 2010.

Jo worked at Van Buren County Special School for 19 years. She loved to dress up in costumes and make people happy!

She has touched everyone’s heart. She was very active in the Special Olympics.

Jo was born in LR, AR. Jo is preceded by her parents Dewey Sterling Boone and Bertha Caroline Boone. Jo is survived by her husband Kerry Brown, Chief of Police in Fairfield Bay.

Her daughter, Debra Samples and her 2 boys Justin and Derik Huber. Jo had one great grandson Aiden Cole Huber, Jo’s son, James Brown and his spouse Renee Brown.

Jo had a brother Dewey F. Boone and his wife Pat Boone, their daughter Kelly Sexton and her family, also Becky Howell Brown friend of family.

A Memorial Services will be held at the Van Buren County Special School (VBCSS) August 27th 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made in Jo’s name to Special Olympics.
